May 16 Message From Rev. Tam

This past Sunday, we spent time with the story of Tabitha in Acts 9:36 – 43. Tabitha’s story is a reminder that what looks over doesn’t have to be the end. When Peter prayed and said, “Tabitha, get up,” something mighty happened, she did. Life returned. Hope moved through the room. Her comeback became a testimony, not just of what God can do, but of what happens when we pray together, stay connected, and believe.

Comebacks are more than moments. They take root in the soil of community. They take shape when we show up for one another, when we pray together for what seems beyond reach, and when we speak life. Speaking life means we speak words of joy, peace, faith and comfort to ourselves and others.

If you’ve been holding more than you talk about, take a breath. If something you once dreamed of has faded into the background, it’s not too late for it to have wings. If your days have felt long and your energy low, know that renewal is possible. Comebacks sometimes happen at a slower pace than we anticipate, but they do happen, and they are unfolding, in you, around you, and through you.

It’s comeback season.
Comeback season for you.
Comeback season for your hope.
Comeback season for your joy.
Comeback season for your courage.
Comeback season for your purpose.

Let’s keep hoping. Let’s keep building one another up. Let’s keep making room for what God is doing in and through each of us.

With love and expectation,

Rev. Tam
