Hello Family,
This week, I had a quick moment. The kind that slips in quietly and tries to shake your confidence. I’ve been working on something with care, something I’ve seen grow slowly, prayerfully, and steadily. Then one small comment landed the wrong way, and just like that, doubt tried to take up space.
It didn’t last long. I caught it and bounced out of it quickly.
What helped was remembering Sunday’s message: Jesus meets us in our doubt.
That’s what Jesus did for Thomas. Jesus didn’t correct him. Jesus didn’t stand at a distance. Jesus came close, held out his hands, and met the moment with peace. That kind of presence changes everything.
It reminded me that part of the journey is learning how to return to what we know.
Not in our heads alone, but in our bodies. In our memory. In the rhythm of what God has already shown us.
We return to the prayers that carried us before.
We return to the promises that held us steady.
We return to the moments where God made a way.
We don’t have to chase after clarity, we can rest in what’s already been revealed.
So if something small has stirred something in you this week, I just want to say—you’re okay. One moment of doubt doesn’t undo the good that’s already unfolding. Jesus is still near, still steady, and still ready to walk with you.
With loving care,
Rev. Tam
